Penn State to Face Ole Miss in 2023 Peach Bowl

After finishing the regular season with a 10-2 record and ranked 10th in the College Football Playoff rankings, the Nittany Lions have been given a bid to play in the Peach Bowl on December 30th at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. There they’ll face the 11th ranked 10-2 Ole Miss Rebels in this year’s iteration of an iconic New Year’s Six (NY6) bowl game.

This marks the first time Penn State has played in the Peach Bowl, as well as the first time that the two schools have played one another. In bowl games, the Nittany Lions have a 31–19–2 record, including a 17–6–1 record in what’s now known as the NY6 (Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Peach Bowl, Orange Bowl, and Fiesta Bowl). The Rebels also have a winning record of 24-15 in their bowl games, and 11-7 in the NY6 games.
